Public Discussion on the Results of the Stress Tests

Public Discussion on the Results of the Stress Tests of Kozloduy NPP was held in Kozloduy on 5 July 2012. The Public Discussion was organized by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency in cooperation with the Kozloduy NPP.
The objectives, scope and organization of the process of the European Stress Tests, the results of the stress tests of nuclear facilities in Kozloduy NPP and the Bulgarian peer review, held from 12 to 15 March 2012 were discussed within the first part of the Public Discussion.
Discussion, led by the Chairman of NRA Dr. Sergey Tzotchev took place in the second part. The attendants had the opportunity to ask questions and to comment topics, related to the stress tests and the safety of Kozloduy NPP.
Mr. Vladimir Urutchev - member of the European Parliament and member of the Council of Directors of Kozloduy NPP, Dr. Sergey Tzotchev - Chairman of NRA, Mr. Valentin Nikolov – Executive Director of Kozloduy NPP, Mr. Borislav Stanimirov - Deputy Chairman of NRA, experts from NRA and Kozloduy NPP, Mr. Petur Penchev - member of the Antinuclear Coalition, which unifies some NGOs took part in the Public Discussion. Representatives of the regional administration of Vratsa and Montana and municipal administration of Bojchinovtsi, Lom, Byala Slatina, Kozloduy, Krivodol, Miziya, NGOs, citizens and journalists also took part in the Discussion.
